GENERAL: Over absorbent surfaces, use latex sealer. On old paint, remove loose paint, fill, sand and prime. On wood, metal and concrete, use recommended sealer. For best coverage, work over a flat latex paint or primer that has been tinted to approximate color of ProFaux Venetian Color. First coats, use ProFaux Venetian in desired color(s). For a smooth surface, apply layers in a crosshatch matter at package consistency using ProFaux blue steel spatulas. If desired, stain with ProFaux Stonewash Pigments. Protect and waterproof ProFaux Venetian with ProFaux Acrylic Wax in clear, metallic or iridescent. Burnish this protective wax coat for highly decorative interior finish. Alternatively, apply ProFaux Zero Gloss Acrylic Varnish for a flat finish.

MIXING: Tint with universal colorants (or acrylic latex paint). Use the heavy duty ProFaux Mixer and a drill. (This product is too thick to mix color reliably on a paint shaker). ProFaux Venetian will lighten many values when dry, and it will darken back many tones when ProFaux Stain Acrylic Wax is applied.
To mix pastel color: Use ProFaux White Venetian and mix with 25-50% of the colorant that would be required for the paint formula. Hint: Use less colorant if polishing with nothing or ProFaux Acrylic Flat Wax.

To mix Medium Base Color: Use ProFaux White Venetian and mix with 50-100%of the colorant that would be required for paint formula. Hint: Use less colorant if polishing finish with ProFaux Acrylic Clear Stain Wax. Use more colorant if polishing with nothing or ProFaux Flat Wax.

To mix Deep Base color: Use ProFaux Neutral Venetian and mix with 100-125% of the colorant that would be required for the paint formula. Hint: Use less colorant if polishing finish with ProFaux Acrylic Clear Satin Wax. Use more colorant if polishing with nothing or ProFaux Acrylic Flat Wax.

APPLICATION: May be applied with varied tools such as spatulas, trowels, brushes, rollers or sponges. Coverage: 150-200 sq. ft. per gallon.

DRYING TIME: Allow 20 minutes to one hour, depending on film thickness (68 degrees @ 65% RH).

CLEAN UP & DISPOSAL: Use hot water for application equipment. Do not use dispose of any product in sewers, waterways or municipal garbage. Use all the product you buy or give to someone who can. If disposal is necessary, contact your local municipality or paint store instructions.

NOTE: Non Combustible. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
