Pro Faux is particularly fond of our Clear Flat Acrylic Wax because it can be left dead flat or burnished to a full gloss making for interesting wall finish possibilities. Pro Faux Iridescent Waxes Like the Metallic Waxes, Iridescent Waxes use the same high quality acrylic resins, are burnishable, protect and can be painted out later. These special pigments remain somewhat elusive and play with changing light conditions. Because they only appear from certain angles iridescent waxes tend to look even more translucent and mysterious than their metallic relatives. These waxes are also applied with damp cellulose sponges in a circular wiping pattern or with blue steel spatulas to create random cross-hatch pattern.
