Faux Metallic Mica Pigments
These special non-reactive pigments are a real asset to any
faux finishers arsenal. These are the same pigments used by
art products manufacturers because they don't oxidize like
regular bronzing powders. They mix safely with water based
glazing liquids, Acrylic Waxes etc. and look best when applied
thinly over textures.

Pro
Faux Iridescent Pigments
These are quite revolutionary pigments and belong in a class
all their own. They look quite similar to one another in the
containers but when mixed and applied to wall or furniture
surfaces these unique pigments take on special hues depending
upon the light. Some say these iridescent pigments have an
"on/off" quality like the colors on a male duck's plumage
or the colors on a freshly caught trout. However you like
to look at it, these are the artist's new pigments of the
21st Century. To

Pro
Faux Stonewash Pigments
These dry earth pigments are heavier than other types of dry
colors which means they're less dusty when handling. Professionals
love our rich color selection and the fact that all our Stonewash
Pigments are water soluble. A little of these colors goes
a long way too. Just a teaspoon of dry pigment per quart of
water makes a nice wash which can be used over ProFaux Bases,
Carolina Sandstone, Adobe, or plain flat latex paint. Best
of all, these pigments contain no strong binders which makes
them very flexible to work with. When the desired effect is
achieved, an acrylic varnish, such as our Acrylic Zero Gloss
Varnish, or any of ProFaux's Acrylic Waxes can be used to
"lock up" the pigment for years of maintenance free beauty.
